Only what we need to detail your vehicle and to reach you about it:

• Booking details — your name, email address, phone number, the service address, where the vehicle will be parked, your vehicle's make, model, year and condition, the services you chose, your preferred date and time, and any notes you add.
• Contact messages — anything you type into the contact form, plus the name, email and phone you give with it.
• Payment details — handled entirely by Stripe. Your card number never reaches our website or our servers. We see only what Stripe shows us: the amount, the last four digits, and whether the payment succeeded.
• Basic technical logs — our host (Vercel) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and browser type, to run and secure the site.

Your details are used to do the job you booked, and nothing else:

• To schedule and carry out the detail you booked.
• To take the booking deposit and the remaining balance.
• To contact you about your appointment — confirming, rescheduling, or letting you know we're on the way.
• To keep records of work and payments for accounting and tax purposes.

We do not sell your information, rent it, or use it for advertising. We don't send marketing emails unless you ask us to.

Three services help us run the business. Each one only receives what it needs:

• Stripe — payment processing. Stripe receives your booking details so the payment record shows what was booked. See stripe.com/privacy.
• Resend — email delivery. Resend sends your booking details to us in an email. See resend.com/legal/privacy-policy.
• Vercel — website hosting. See vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy.

This site has no analytics, no advertising pixels, no session recording and no third-party tracking cookies. Nothing follows you around the internet because of us.

Your browser stores two small things on your own device to make the site work: a note that you've already seen the opening animation, and a copy of an in-progress booking so your details survive the trip to Stripe and back. Both stay on your device and are cleared when you clear your browser data.

Booking and payment records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and tax purposes — generally seven years. Contact form messages are kept only as long as they're useful, and are deleted once the conversation is done.

Email austin@cleanslatecars.com and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct anything that's wrong, or delete it — except records we're legally required to keep, such as payment history. Ask us to stop contacting you at any time and we will.

The site is served over HTTPS, payments run through Stripe's hosted checkout, and the keys that connect our site to Stripe and to our email service live on the server, never in your browser. No system is perfect, but we don't store anything we don't need.

Our services are for vehicle owners, and the site isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect their information.

If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. Material changes will be obvious on this page.
